Clean Resources CRP-1500 Replacement Drum

This is a genuine Clean Resources CRP-1500 replacement drum, supplied drum only. It is designed to be installed under your existing DC Plus decompression manifold when your current CRP-1500 drum reaches end of life. The drum contains the proprietary alumina silicate substrate media that adsorbs oil from compressor condensate at 10 ppm or less throughout the life of the unit.

How Long Will the Drum Last?

Unit life depends on compressor horsepower, oil carryover rate, and runtime. Typical examples for the CRP-1500: 24,000 hours at 150 HP, 18,000 hours at 200 HP.

To estimate life for your specific application, multiply the base unit life by the runtime correction factor: 8,000 hrs/yr (CF 1), 6,000 hrs/yr (CF 1.33), 4,000 hrs/yr (CF 2), or 2,000 hrs/yr (CF 4). Reciprocating compressors should consult Clean Resources directly for sizing.

How It Works

The proprietary alumina silicate media bed uses molecular sieve technology and chemical bonding. Lubricant molecules attract to the substrate and permanently bond, eliminating groundwater contamination. The media handles all common compressor lubricants including diester, PAO, POE, glycol, hydraulic, food grade, mineral, and synthetic.

Replacement Indicators

The CRP system includes a visual and audible alarm that notifies you when the drum has reached saturation. Replace the drum at that point. The retired drum can be shipped to Clean Resources for free recycling, or disposed of in accordance with state and local regulations.
